Service Description

The trip combines the best of the best on the sunny side of Alps. Step 1. Mountain pass Vršič The highest Slovenian road pass. An incredible panoramic road with heavenly close-up views of the Julian Alps, diverse forests and a bunch of natural sights, which invite you to enjoy the authentic Alpine atmosphere.  On the way, you will not run out of opportunities to admire the beauties of nature hidden by the Triglav National Park. Vršič pass is most beautiful in spring, when the nature is awakening, sprouting and boasting with its green youth. Step 2. Lake Jasna Lake Jasna is an extraordinary beautiful small alpine lake. The views around the lake are very scenic. Really a great place to spend a bit of time and enjoy incredible views.   Step 3. Waterfalls Perichnik. Most beautiful and largest waterfall in Slovenia. Take a beautiful picture with a stunning background, relax and recharge yourself in a pure peace of nature or simply admire the beautiful surrounding. Step 4. Ajdova Deklica (the pagan girl) Above Vršič, in the ribs of the rocky Prisanko, a buckwheat girl is petrified, staring in amazement at the Trenta valley. When the sunny days of autumn dry the mountain grasses so that they harden and become straw, the mountain goats rush past them lower into the valley, to the shelter of the dark fir forests. In the mornings, the cold autumn winds lift the fog from the valley to start rolling over the rocky outcrops that seep into the sky. That's when the buckwheat girl hides from prying eyes. Few mountaineers know how it got lost between the rocks and the overhanging cliffs of the steep Prisanko and how it petrified in the rocky rib. Step 3. Russian Chapel Chapel served as a powerful motivator for Russian prisoners of war to withstand the inhuman efforts and violence of Austro-Hungarian guards during the construction of the road across the mountain pass. The verse of the Austrian poet Peter Rosegger remind us of the futility of war and everything connected with it: “Or to the north, or to the south, each road leads to a destination. or in battle, or in peace, it is God’s will to decide.
